For our volunteer positions that require regular contact with children, we must also have on file your PA State Police Criminal Background Check and PA Childline Child Abuse History Certification, in accordance with PA State Law. In addition to these clearances, if you have not been a PA state resident for the past 10 consecutive years, we will need to acquire an FBI clearance for you.  We are happy request the required clearances on your behalf, free of charge.  The necessary information needed to obtain them is on the volunteer application. 

Remember, we will need this in hand before you can volunteer with the children.  If you decide to process the applications yourself you will need to pay the fees at the time of submission.  However, you can be reimbursed for the expense upon request and submission of your receipt.
